Class Descriptions

Bootcamp: Bootcamp is a group physical training program designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals. This class uses bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, suspension training and burpees, interspersed with running, speed and agility, or other cardio training.


HiiT: HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, 100% effort through quick (20-60 seconds), intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.  Our HiiT classes are a quick and convenient way to increase your metabolism – no equipment necessary!


Full Body Challenge: This full body workout includes exercises to improve cardio and muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination. All fitness levels are welcome.


Enhanced Fitness: Low-impact aerobic group exercise program, that helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives.


Wild Card: The Wild Card class is the instructor’s choice of workouts, so have some fun and take your chances with us; you may be cardio boxing, HiiT training, or weight training. Whatever cards we choose, you’ll get a great 30 min workout that will leave you sweating.


Cardio Boxing: This class focuses on technique and form while letting you get your frustrations out!  Cardio boxing classes offer plenty of aerobic activity by encouraging high-intensity repetitive motions. These classes train your muscles through bursts of boxing mixed with calisthenics exercises


Weight Training: Introduces the proper way to begin training with weights using lighter weights and higher repetitions to develop lean muscle. Weight training is intermingled with complimentary exercises.  This is an unintimidating class for beginners.


Silver Sneakers Circuit: Combine fun with fitness to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance and power with a chair-based standing circuit workout.


Silver Sneakers Cardio Fit: This advanced older adult group exercise class includes safe, effective, easy to follow low-impact movements to improve cardiovascular health.


Zumba: Zumba features aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.  Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.


Yoga Studio Classes


Gentle Yoga: This full body program includes a series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.


Yoga: Classes are open to students of all levels and focus on alignment principles, posture and integration of breathwork and meditation.  Each class provides personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, and breath–all within an informal and supportive environment. 


Family Yoga: Children 8 and up and their parents are welcome to attend this class.
